Chassis SFACXXBJ2CGL00053

I think this car was originally sold to David Shering from Fordingbridge, Hants around March 1987 and then later to Peter Hess from Kingston in Surrey which seems odd as the HPI check shows only 1 owner ?

I always keep a eye open (or ear in this case) for RS 200's not mentioned on this site.

This one was discussed on a RSOC web site :-

and was apparently seen broken down on the A31 outside Ringwood on 7th November 2003.

June 2004 - My friend was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and saw D49FOT and saw it's chassis to be #053 !

October 2005 - I have been a bit remiss here as I have been in email contact with Karl Smith with regard to #053 for about a year now. Following Goodwood 2004 Karl got in touch, he confirmed that D49FOT is #053 and went on to explain that she is owned by Paul Hendy of Hendy FORD (Southampton) and that he works there. He gets to take her out when ever he wants (with his bosses approval) and as such D49FOT is actually one of the more active cars in the list which includes a recent appearance in the FORD roadshow promoting FORD motorsport. - Sorry Karl that it took this long and thanks for the photos... (anyone ever wondered how to change a 200 clutch - look below !)
