I think this car was originally sold to Jeff Churchill from Mid Glamorgan around April 1986
I found these images on this website.. http://www.turbocharger.co.uk/rs-200.html
March 2004 - I was in email conversation with Garry Campbell who owns #159 and he mentioned his other car which is this one #082, he says it is a works spec 450 BHP.
I am hoping he will send me some more info and images but he did say it is up for sale (something about 200's being more expensive to run than his wife)
Garry says the index is currently B20ORS but was C888JHT, I think he meant C888JTH.
June 2004 - Another enthusiast, William Arnold, has sent me a some images for the database...
Ford Fair Cornbury Park 1994 owned at that time by Michael Taylor...
July 2004 - And another ...
August 2005 - I met Garry at the RS National Day at Donnington Park and he says that he has been having lots done to #082 and at the moment he is not going to be selling her so, should be seeing more of her in 2005/6.
Summer 2006 - I have met Garry a few times now and been up to his house. #082 is undergoing a huge nut and bolt re-build with some stunningly engineered replacement parts, like 6 pot callipers all round. Good news was I bought his old 315mm units and he fitted them to #193 for me ! - Result !
December 2006 - Garry has said that is someone wants her then, although still unfinished, he would sell her and mentioned the figure of £65,000
August 2007 - I have been chatting to Gary and he has been busy over the last few months spending more money and more time on #082 getting her closer to finishing, he has even had the engine running! No expense has been spared so he is now going to keep her as she has now cost him a lot more to re-build than he had planned !! - Ain't that always the way. :)
If you find any further info on this vehicle please email me on justin@rs200.org
