I think this car was originally sold to John Collins of Cheshire, UK around November 1988.

This car is odd as it is not mentioned as being one of the "original" 20 evolution cars yet I believe it was sold by FORD as 600 BHP EVO Spec, it may be that it was an extra one made up by FORD in addition to the first 20 ?

It was fitted with Stripes and was built as LHD but converted to RHD by FORD for sale.

March 2004 - Robin Plummer sent me this image, he thought it might have been Sue Collins own car, I might give them a ring and ask !

March 2004 - Sue Collins has been in touch and confirms she does still own this, it is a 2.1 evolution with big valve ported head, a bigger intercooler, international rallycross spec turbo and xtrac straight cut gearbox - She says it produces well over 650 BHP - Ouch.

Standing quarter mile in 10.02 @ 132 mph on road tyres with 200 MPH gearing installed - MAD !!!!

I am just waiting for the chassis number :)

June 2004 - Another enthusiast, William Arnold, has sent me a some images for the database...

If you find any further info on this vehicle please email me on justin@rs200.org
