The most recent addition (published in
2005) to books that feature the 200 comes from Graham Robson entitled "Boreham:
The 40-year Story of Ford's Motorsport Dream Factory. It is available from most book shops and Amazon sell it for £23.10 which is some discount of the £35.00. The ISBN is 1844251039 - I am trying to blag myself a signed copy for the future - fingers crossed ! |

A great book to cover several RS models
is "RS: The Faster Fords" by Jeremy Walton first published in 1987. My dad bought me this book for Christmas in 1989, little did I know quite how much I would read it and that over the next 18 years I would own so many RS's of different types. They are out of print now but you can find them around 2nd hand for about £15 which was the price when released. There appear to be two print runs with different covers as you can see, the top one ( ISBN 0-947981-21-7 ) is the "first edition" as it were ;) LOL |

During 2004 I saw advertised on EBAY a
book simply titled "Ford RS 200" published by Unique Motor Books. Small world as it is it turned out that the address of the company is in the same town in which I worked and only about 10 miles from my home ! I called at the door and met the parents of the "author" ( Colin Pitts ) who invited me into their converted garage which now houses a publishing room. Their son is responsible for the project and he has collected hundreds of old car magazines. He then picks a car to research, goes through all the magazines and photocopies any articles before sending off the pile of pages to be bound locally. The book has the ISBN number 1 84155 547 9 and costs £10. They are contactable on 01702 207384 or www.uniquemotorbooks.com |
Anyone recommend any others ?
