And then we arrive at number 200, the final car in the numbering sequence and alive and well in Dagenham, Essex in the heritage collection.

Bob Howe told me, "There was always a couple of chassis numbers we were never going to allow the public to have and #200 was one of them"

I was looking through a February 1997 edition of Fast Ford and on pages 20 thro 23 there is a nice piece on the RS200. The photos are of a car with no index displayed but the figures 00200 centre placed on the windscreen. The car is being driven and written about by Jeremy Walton and it appears to be being driven around Silverstone.

The 00200 sticker and other decals tend to show that the car is #200 but an HPI check shown C117OTW to be :-

There are some obvious typos there but we have seen that in many records before but it does show that it was un-registered until 1997.

In August 2004 I was at the RS Owners Club national day today and there C117OTW was and I confirmed it's chassis plate as being #200.

Some odd things, it is not as clean as you would have thought bearing in mind it's rarity. It is running on 55 profile tyres instead of 50's ? - Also the boot decal is not the original.
