The original Wooden Cars

Post by Justin Smith »

Are here is my special model, probably the hardest to find, one of the 400 original wooden models.

These were arranged by (RL) during the sales period in the late 80's, they were made by Curtis Stimpson from Woodeye Productions in the USA - My car is numbered 381 of 400.

Would you believe I was surfing randomly and typed in the search criteria above and found I had missed one at a furniture auction the week before which went for, wait for it, £2 !!! - BAH !!!

In the RS200 Owners Magazines (mag 2 Page 34) Ric Lee talles you a little about their origin.

So, if you have one of a different number lets starting recording them ! ;)
