Again, looking for spare parts for an owner brought us to investigate this item...

Hand Brake light switch is part number 82AB15852AA which means it’s from a 1982 Escort which I suspect would be an early Mk3 Finis is 6111456.

A check on Ebay and we found one for a bargain price of £3 !

I did some more research and found it was probably used on many cars at the time...
