I hope you don't mind me getting in touch, but I'm in the middle of writing an article for Classic & Sports Car and I'm struggling to get a few specific pieces of information relating to the RS200. I was wondering if you could help fill in a few blanks?
The reason for mentioning the car is as an alternative to a Porsche 959, so I've opted to compare it with the Evolution model – that's where the problem is coming in!
The information I'm looking for is as follows (and relates to the Evolution model specifically):
0-100mph time – I've come across the 0-60 dash of 3.07 seconds, but no full data
Top speed – Similarly
Price when new – I understand the standard road-going car was circa £50,000, but haven't found any reference to the 24 Evo cars
Value today – The last reference I found to a car sold at auction was in 2011 at $169,000, which is a good deal less than standard RS200s have been advertised for since.
Any help you could give me would be hugely appreciated."
