From FORD paperwork I have read I think this car was sold around December 1987 to Takayoshi Hashikata from Tokyo, Japan and was arranged through Gordon Palmer Enterprises from Maidenhead, Berks.
I believe it did bear a UK index briefly of D737HYH before arriving in Germany, maybe to help with German registration rules ? although why it was in Germany I am not sure !
