According to FORD paperwork I have read I think this car was sold around January 1989 to H Fukushima from Tokyo, Japan through Hendy FORD at Southampton and Mr J Moore from Piston & Component Supplies Ltd in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
If what I have heard is correct, the buyer wanted his RS200 to be Ferrari Red, "Rossa Corsa" as it is known. This was arranged by FORD and sent to Tickford for this to be dealt with at a cost of £2300 approx.
In December 2005 another owner sent me a link to a car that lives in a museum in Japan, I knew of the car but never knew the chassis number until his email. The link to the website is ... http://www.vistanet.co.jp/museum/f_rs200.htm , if you can read Japanese !
