I have been sent an image of what I think is a replica (given the site it seems to have come from).

Anyone got any other info ?

Did a quick search on madabout-kitcars.com and it looks like it's a Banham replica... Looks very good...

It was built by Rob a regular on the Banham site from Maidstone and sold on about 4 years ago. The pictures were taken during the magazines track day at Branz.

Hi Mike. Yes it is still running well. It takes a bit of keeping right, but then that is half the fun (or so i tell the mrs)! I had it out last weekend to take a friend's son to his year 11 prom, which he has been asking about since Christmas. Alll we need now is some decent weather, and more trips can be made.

This was my little car, and very proud of it I am. I sold it to Dave as he is a RS200 fan just like me,and were I was going you can't take Kit Cars.
I joined the RSOC back in the 80's when it first started. I was lucky to be taken for a drive with the late Bob Howl, and meet some of the design team. I did have a good look around Boreham where a lot of the cars that Bob was trying to sale were stored. I was offered one at a discount Yes Ford offering a discount, I now wish I had taken up the offer. I built F707COF from a MG turbo that was owned by the typical boy racer. The engine was blown up, the turbo was shot, the tyres on the car said it all there was the wire hanging out of the sides. I got it home and started the project.
The Engine was stripped bare and rebuilt by a MG specialist, the gearbox stripped and checked (found out these boxes are near un-breakable). The body didn't have any major rust only surface rust in the drivers and passengers foot wells.
The Banham kit was a pig to fit as I was given the wrong steel to start with but after the correct parts were sent it when together very well. I found out a lot about both makes the Ford and MG in building it. I built in a lot more strength in the shell, and all the welding was done by a professional. Mike helped out a lot with info and advice as well as doing the electrics in the dash for me, Thanks Mike.
The car was finished and I found it un-driveable, I went to a rolling road and they found that I had made a simple mistake in putting a pipe on and Bingo a pocket rocket.
Dave has shown that he loves the car as much as I did.
I have since building the car, moved to New Zealand. I have been told there are 3 real RS200's here. I have only seen one and spoke to the guy in Auckland who owns it. He say it is up for sale if the price was right?? I will have to keep doing the Lotto and may be one day you never know.
