Lets just say its snug
Basically it was a professional bodywork specialist that took an XR4X4i and shortened and modified the floorpan replaced the bodywork with a metro shell and a genuine 6R4 kit, 2.9 cosworth engine and upgraded all the suspension to adjustable stuff and all polybushed etc etc. built for sprint/hillclimb
The whole thing is very impressive and all done to a very professional standard, the panel fit is spot on its an amazing drive, cant stop grinning everytime i take it for a spin.
Heres some more pics, hope not boring anyone too much, just thought some of you might enjoy looking at how well this beast has been put together :D

Quite clever realy, it's basically a Sierra XR4x4 shell that was stripped of it's outer bodywork and then the front and rear chassis, rails etc professionaly modified and shortened to accept the Mertro bodywork, you would'nt think it's possible but it is and the work is top dollar and fully road legal.
The running gear is XR4X4 but was changed with all competition parts and a 2.9 BOA Cosworth engine from a Granada, the whole thing was made for Hillclimb/sprints :D
