Ford RS200 Database

Hi,

I was thinking of purchasing the above model. Now I did a bit of research on the internet. Sourced directly from another webpage. It reads as follows:

"It is for a Limited edition Ford motor company 2004 Ford calendar edition 1:32 scale diecast model of a Ford RS200 from the 1980's. This item is extremeley rare and is limited to 1111 piece's and comes with a certificate of authenticity."

Is the above information correct? A person is selling the above car, but does not have original box or certificate of authenticity. It has only the plastic case covering the car model. How much should I pay for this model? How rare are these to collect?

I had actually never heard of this model... I believe this is the one you are referring to ?



You mention it is 1:32 scale but looking at it closely it looks very much like the Minichamps model with a different finish (1:43). All Minichamps RS200's were limited and numbered production runs as far as I know though this one may be one of the lowest produced. The rarest I think is the works Kalle Grundel car from Sweden rally.

I have one of these in silver! Made by Minichamps.

Simply bought a black one, took it apart and resprayed it silver. Its fits in well with the other model RS200's I have!

I did the silver change as I wanted to see if it suited my full sized 200 replica .

Ford rs 200 limited edition, only 1111 ever made. quality super car designed by ford in 2004. This is the car, but is now sold. It was number 161 out of 1111 manufactured.
