Door Opening Surround

According to the parts book page 44 this is called "Handle Assist - Arm Rest"

Part numbers:-

85 BB A22620 DA2P (RH) - Finis 1640301

85 BB A22621 DA2P (LH) - Finis 1640302

Not sure what this comes from yet - anyone any ideas - I think that actual lock and opener are from a Mk3 Granada.

Ford Sierra Mk 1 1983 - 1987 "3 door" shell ie:

They changed slightly for 1985-87 3 Door Cossie (like mine).

RS Cosworth 3 door
RS 500 Cosworth

You may find the Sierra Mk1 4 door front door versions are very similar but shorter. They are all difficult to source. I had considered moulding them with metal inside, but didn't.

The electrical wing mirror switch on your photo is XR4i Mk1 which comes from the ghia Sierra's, Think I have one somewhere! Under the door card is a recess in the door moulding in order to fit this switch.
