Syncro rings

Post by torqueatif »

I am considering remanufacturing syncro gearbox rings, Is Anybody interested in a few sets as they are a bespoke ring ?
Or does anyone have these on the shelf ?
The same goes for the dog gearbox rings.

I have a bag of them which came with a job lot I bought of Quaife's left-over RS200 bits. How many do you need?

Several sets have already been manufactured for the syncro box they were made form a similar material as the originals, the Quaife version were a bit harsh on the gears.
They were about £350 (no doubt more now) per gearbox set, five sets minimium production quantity

That is good to know, I think Stuartg's must be Quiafe, I would think if they are harsh on the gear they may actually be better for down changing at speed.
Who made the other type and do you know who has them ?
