hello all
i am after what i belive is a crash bar the part that ran between the front spot lights on the works cars
cant find much info on this part and would really like one for my replica
any info would be great
( i have bought ian brooks spd replica and will be picking it up next saturday
cant wait to start working on her
)

Hi Sean,
As far as I can work out, the insert (like you say) is only fitted to works cars. Std cars are a one piece mould.
Congrats on buying the kit.
Try and get some pic's uploaded.

does anyone own one of these bars or no of a company that car produce one for me contacted steve stripe of xworks through email but he didnt really seem to no much about the item

I think I know where some works bumpers are in a private collection.
They are not for sale but I should be able to get a good up close look for you with some hi-res images.
Won't be till the new year though. (Which actually isn't that far away !)

I am after the very same part too, Jim has them on both his cars, they do not look too difficult to reproduce, the basic shape could be constructed from wood to create a mould. Or talk really nicely to Jim and ask him to get a mould done from one of his.

I have the molding for these works front bumper inserts.
can be made in carbon fiber just as the one on ex works 061.
